The Virtue and Importance of Sha'ban al-Mu'azzam, Nawafil, and Worship of Shab e Barat
Dear Readers: Narrated by Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with her):
The Companions used to recite the Holy Qur'an after observing the new moon of Sha'ban.
And they used to pay Zakat on their wealth so that the weak and the poor could fast in Ramadan
The rulers would have imposed the limit if there was a problem of enforcing the limit by blocking their prisoners
Otherwise, they would have been set free.
Merchants would try to get rid of their accounts and payments
So that they can dedicate themselves to worship by watching the crescent of Ramadan.
(Ghaniyat al-Talibeen: 1/341)
Hadith Sharif
The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) declared this month to be his month. He said: Shaban is my month and Ramadan is the month of Allah Almighty.
(Kanzul um mal al: 35172)
Hadith Sharif
That prayer of The Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is enough to make this month blessedIn it, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed to Allaah to bless him
Therefore, it is stated in the hadeeth:
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with her) that
When the month of Rajab entered, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite these supplications:
O Allah has mercy on us, We are in Rajab and Sha'ban and we saw the month of Ramadan.
(Shuaib ul Iman:3534)Deeds are offered in the month of Sha'ban:
Deeds are presented this month,
Therefore, it is narrated from Hazrat Usama bin Zayd (May Allah be pleased with her) that:
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
Between Rajab and Ramadan which is the month of Sha'ban,
People usually ignore it,
However, in this month the deeds of the servants are presented before Allah Almighty.
(Shuaib ul Iman:3540)
The deeds of the month of Sha'ban are related to this month in two ways:
(1) Workable.
(2) Abandonable work.
(1) Workable:
That is the deeds that have been taught to be adopted and which are proved by the Sunnah. Such works are as follows:
Arrangements to see the moon of the month of Sha'ban:
It is a Fard-e-Kifaya to protect the Islamic months to remember their exact dates,
What is Fard-e-Kifaya?
Fard-e-Kifaya is that which is necessary and obligatory for everyone to do, but if some people pay it, it will be paid by everyone and if no one pays it, then all of them will be guilty, such as funeral prayers, etc.
Hadith Sharif
Because many Sharia rules are Paused on them,
Therefore, performing Hajj on the correct dates,
The fasts of Ramadan and the payment of Zakat, as well as many other Shari'ah matters, are Paused on the lunar dates,
Therefore, Muslims should remember the lunar months and make arrangements to see the moon,
And after Sha'ban, because the great month of Ramadan is coming,
Therefore, the crescent of Sha'ban should be observed with even more care and interest,
This is the reason why the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to watch the moon of Sha'ban with great care,
So it is in the tradition
Hazrat Ayesha Siddique (May Allah be pleased with her) says that the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to protect the moon of Sha'ban very much.
Didn't save any other month so much.
(Dar Qatni: 2149)

He used to observe many fasts in the month of Sha'ban:

The month of Shaban was the most beloved month for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to fast.
You wanted that
That fasting should be combined with Ramadan.
(Sunan Abu Dawud: 2431)

(Muslim: 1156)
Hadith Sharif
Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with her) says that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was asked:
Which fast is better after Ramadan?
The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
The fast be observed in the month of Sha'ban in honor of Ramadan.
(Tirmidhi: 663)
Hadith Sharif
According to a hadith, the fast of Muharram after Ramadan is said to be the best.
(Tirmidhi: 438)
Abstract:
There is no conflict between the two Because, after Ramadan, it should be looked at absolutely in terms of rank, According to the hadith, the fast of a mahram is better.
But when it comes to respecting the reception of Ramadan.
There is no better fast than Sha'ban.
And respecting Ramadan means that fasting before the arrival of Ramadan should make the soul accustomed to enduring hunger and thirst.
So that the sudden onset of the month of Ramadan does not become a burden on nature and nothing goes against literature.
The reason why The Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to fast so much in the month of Sha'baan:
The reason was:
As mentioned in a hadith that That in this month deeds are presented before Allah Almighty and The Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted that that there should be deeds in the state of fasting.
Hadith Sharif
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama bin Zayd (May Allah be pleased with her) that:
I question the Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):
Or the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the month of Shaban I see you fasting so much as I don't see in any other month,
What is the reason for this?
It is said by Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Peace to be upon him:
Between Rajab and Ramadan which is the month of Sha'ban People usually ignore it,
However, in this month the deeds of the servants are presented before Allah Almighty So I want that
My deeds should be carried out while I am fasting.
(Shuaib ul Iman:3540)
